Listen: Sunbeam Sound Machine – ‘Vanishing Point’

Following the announcement of his fourth album Double Magic last month, Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Sunbeam Sound Machine shares a new single, ‘Vanishing Point.’ The track follows the recently released ‘Waterfall (Strange Gravity),’ offering another glimpse into the dreamlike textures and expansive soundscapes of the upcoming record. Double Magic is set for release on Friday 15 August via Dot Dash / Remote Control.

On his new single ‘Vanishing Point,’ Sunbeam Sound Machine reflects on themes of faith, time, and seeking meaning, sharing; “I’m not a religious person but there are times that I find myself looking to something higher for guidance, and this song is trying to figure out what that might be. It ends with a bit of a mantra about the passage of time ultimately being the thing that will help.”
