Client Liaison Announce Diplomatic Immunity + share Wild Life video

Remote Control Records in partnership with Dot Dash are thrilled to announce the debut album from Melbourne associates Client Liaison. Diplomatic Immunity will be released in Australia & New Zealand on Friday 4th November via Dot Dash / Remote Control.

To celebrate the announce of Diplomatic Immunity, Client Liaison have shared the music video for current single ‘Wild Life’. Directed by Tim White, the video is the band’s first foray into a large studio complete with multiple set builds. The video’s narrative showcases Client Liaison business ventures and their relationship with the Australian Tax Office.

As White explains – “This video is dedicated to the hard working men and women of the Australian Tax Office. These brave public servants truly keep our great island nation afloat. As a director, tax avoidance is an important topic I’ve wanted to weave into music videos for quite some time. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of artists that like to draw attention to their accounting practices. Luckily, Client Liaison were excited by the concept.”

Diplomatic Immunity is available to pre-order now. Fan favourite ‘Hotel Stay’ is available for the first time ever as an instant-grat on iTunes. The debut album is a euphoric velvety confection of house, pop, love balladry, disco, and techno. Diplomatic Immunity has brought together artists from an array of genres and fields, none more vital than the one and only Tina Arena (Harvey’s childhood hero, of course), whose iconic smooth cinematic voice is in top form on ‘A Foreign Affair’. The album features collaborations including Hugo Gruzman (Flight Facilities), George Hewitt (Cleopold), Benjamin Plant (Miami Horror) and is brilliantly brought together by mixer Eric J Dubowsky.
