The new single, and accompanying visual, from Donny Benét is out now. It’s a hooky, groove-driven, and unashamed ode to the dopamine inducing late night meal.
Put simply, director Alex Smith says the video is “a story about a man and a fridge, and their impossible love.”
The past 24 months have been a whirlwind for Donny Benét. After releasing his fourth album The Don in March 2018, Bénet embarked on a debut solo European tour in July 2018, performing at festivals including Pohoda Festival, Vahlkoff Festival and 16 clubs shows (most of which sold out). The shows grew an immense buzz and online chatter resulting in the creation of Donny Bénet Facebook fan clubs in Slovakia, Netherlands and Belgium.
This year Bénet embarked on his debut solo USA tour supporting Mac Demarco. In June 2019, the five piece Donny Benét Show Band toured Europe for the first time to packed audiences including major festivals Down The Rabbit Hole, Rock Wertcher, Metropolis Festival and Pohoda Festival plus sold out headline dates in Amsterdam, London and Berlin.
This month, Benét returned to North America in support of Drugdealer and performed debut headline dates in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. While in town he recorded an in-studio session with KEXP.
