Dyson Stringer Cloher announce debut album and share ‘Believer’

Dyson Stringer Cloher have announced their debut self titled album will be released 4 October through Milk! Records. Check out their video for new single ‘Believer,’ an anthem in owning your aspiration, and inspired by the AFLW. Catch the iconic trio on tour around the country in November.

Cloher says of the video, “I remember the day Tayla Harris’ kick was immortalised. Women in my circle, mostly musicians, posted the now famous photo to their social pages in solidarity, calling out sexism and misogyny. It made me think about my next door neighbour Lulu Beatty who is 16. She plays in her school football team and dreams of one day playing in the AFLW. I often see Lulu and her Dad Vinnie walking along our street hand balling the footy on their way to the park. It always makes me tear up, knowing the existence of the AFLW gives her somewhere to aim her ambition. When Liz (Stringer) played me ‘Believer’ for the first time, I felt it’s immediate power and focus. Matching it with Lulu and her team excelling at their sport felt like the perfect union of sound and vision. I am so proud of this clip and I hope it finds it way to the audience that needs it most.”
