Stabbing synths rising over lofi house-influenced percussion intertwine with June Jones’ vocals on the Melbourne-based singer-producer’s take on Minogue’s 2001 track – out via Emotion Punk Records / Remote Control Records. Speaking to the release, Jones shares: “I was so excited when Music Victoria asked me to do a Kylie cover as part of their announcement that she would be inducted into their Hall of Fame. It was always going to be a song off 2001’s Fever, which was released just before my 10th birthday, but in the end I went with Come Into My World because it is iconic, sexy, and emotional all at once.”
Praised by MTV as having a voice that “envelops you and never lets you go”, ‘Come Into My World’ follows the release of Jones’ cyber-pop punk single ‘Motorcycle’.
