An ode to island youth, club shapeshifters 15 15 release their latest single, ‘āfa’. Touching on the luminous rays of a Tahitian summer party, a yearly tradition that’s deeply rooted in Tsi-Min and Ennio’s culture (both were born there) ‘āfa’ radiates in breezy, communal energy that lingers like salt in the air.

The past 12 months have marked many standout performances, notably Pitchfork Festival London at Camden’s Roundhouse, a European tour in support of Kamasi Washington and the inauguration of their sold-out three-night SAPLIN CLUB residency at Point Éphémère in Paris.

15 15 have paved their own lane of experimental r&b, disconcerting club sounds and electronica, conjuring up epic soundscapes coated in Moombahton and club-ready jaunts of the underground, and received a personal invitation by Benji B to his prestigious Maida Vale 2022 ‘End Of Year Special’, alongside George Riley, Liv.e and Ojerime.
