Listen – Oh Pep! ‘Half Life’

Oh Pep! shared their new track ‘Half Life’, released originally as an exclusive for the Thirty Days of Yes project in support of marriage equality, ‘Half Life’ is now available on all digital services.

Since the release of their 2016 debut album Stadium Cake, Oh Pep! have proven to be highly sort-after collaborators, racking up co-writing credits with dozens of artists from all over the world. ‘Half Life’ is the result of one of those sessions, working with Eskimo Joe’s Joel Quartermain to create a pop song of rare beauty.

The instrumental flourishes of Pepita Emerichs (violin/mandolin) create Oh Pep’s most gorgeous and ethereal musicscape yet, anchored by driving and pertinacious drums. Meanwhile Olivia Halley’s delicate performance sounds heavenly above it all and as usual they’ve left us breathless.
