Fresh from taking out Best Breakthrough Artist at this year’s AIR Awards, Telenova release their sophomore EP Stained Glass Love. In celebration, the band will take to the road travelling around Australia and New Zealand this August, September and October. Full tour info below!
Widescreen pop music, cinematic in scope and ambitious in design. The tracks on Stained Glass Love delve into self-destruction, heartbreak, addiction, desire, anxiety, isolation, and – eventually – rebirth. There’s a coming-of-age narrative weaved through the entire tapestry, and a mature restraint to the production.
Filled with soaring vocals from enchanting front-woman Angeline Armstrong and wistful production deftly handled by multi-instrumentalists Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty, Telenova are cementing themselves as one of Australia’s brightest new talents.
