Space Invadas return with new single ‘Wild World ft. Remi’

Made up of Katalyst and Steve Spacek, Space Invadas return after a seven year break with brand new single ‘Wild World’, featuring Melbourne MC Remi. Watch the clip below!

On ‘Wild World ft. Remi’ Spacek sings about the search for our own meaning and identity in the world and the natural beauty of our planet that most of us take for granted. Remi returns the call and makes social comment on current events and the role of money in our society, bringing it back to the bigger picture of community playing an important role for our survival.

The jazz infused soul / hip hop track ‘Wild World ft. Remi’ is the first new material from Space Invadas since their debut record Soul-Fi, and will appear on their second album Wild World set for release in early 2018.

Wild World touches on many other genres of contemporary music, especially hip hop. Featured album vocalists include MC’s Guilty Simpson and Remi along with soul vocalist Natalie Slade.

Katalyst is Australian producer Ashley Anderson. He runs the Invada label in Australia with with Portishead’s Geoff Barrow. Steve Spacek originates from London yet landed in Sydney via LA. He has worked with the likes of J Dilla, Mos Def, Slum Village, Common and many more and is likened to classic soul singers Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye.
