The Soft Moon has announced his debut Australian tour set for this October. Converting sounds into the live realm will be a full band to accompany instrumentalist, singer, producer and founder of The Soft Moon, Luis Vasquez.
Taking key notes from post-punk and dark pop pioneers like Joy Division, Bauhaus, Suicide and Nine Inch Nails Vasquez’s sound has developed a cult following since his first release in 2010. Last years Deeper is a spacious affair with all the favourable lo-fi bells and whistles that we became acquainted with in the s/t LP and the widely praised, Zeros. The resulting recording is a merit to Vasquez’s personal development, delivering tracks that aim to confront depression and overwhelming feelings of oblivion.
