Adrianne Lenker (Big Thief) presents her new single and video, ‘Ruined’. The track is a heart-breaking, remarkable intro to Lenker’s highly anticipated new solo album, which she has announced will be coming in 2024.
On ‘Ruined’, Lenker moves to the piano for the first time and the accompanying video was directed by Adrianne’s brother Noah Lenker, collaging gorgeous footage of Lenker in autumnal foliage.
Of ‘Ruined,’ Lenker says: “This song has been a quiet beacon for me. It may contain the essence of the gift of romantic love but it’s mostly about something much bigger.”
