‘Pink to Blue’ is a captivating soul-driven indie lament written with ARIA nominated record producer, composer, mixer and songwriter Tony Buchen and lauded American musician Luther Russell.
“A turbulent love was existent in my life when we were writing this song. Sometimes things happen for a reason and out of your control in a beautiful synchronicity,” said Rami.
“It fascinates me how life gives you what you need when you need it. My relationship was turbulent for reasons out of our control. We were long distancing between Paris and Sydney which consisted of a 10 hour time difference and that had been our reality since the beginning of our love.
Trying to counter balance the time difference meant a lot of late nights spent on the phone and early wake ups to go to work. I was running myself short from both ends and that’s where this song’s meaning is derived from. I was quite literally turning from pink to blue… the lack of sleep and the stress that was mounting from consistently trying to keep up with the other half of my heart.”
