Watch: Rabbit Island – ‘11, 12, 13’

Ahead of her new album Deep in The Big due this Friday 17th August, Amber Fresh AKA Rabbit Island has shared new single ‘11, 12, 13’ along with a beautiful clip, which reflects on her friendship with Nicholas Allbrook. Watch below!

Amber says of the video – “We made the video at home in Freo (Walyalup) and on the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River) one good day. It’s a portrait of our friendship I guess, in a few tiny scenes. Me, Nicholas Allbrook, Eva Niollet and Tahlia Palmer filmed it. Nick and I put it together in the kitchen on the long magical kitchen table. We’ve watched it lots of times with friends on a laptop by candlelight and felt pretty proud. This clip is special to me so I hope other people like it.

It’s easy to love the river, love wearing fur in a canoe, to love tea, love visiting friends with pets – a few things got put in as a secret homage to the song ‘A Few of My Favourite Things’. The song is about many friendships, past, present and future and heaps of other things.”

Deep in The Big is a pure experience that will take listeners somewhere beautiful and new. In Deep in The Big Amber uses piano, guitar, organ, voice and a swag of effects to build a rippling, oceanic work. Treading her own path, Rabbit Island shoots for her own constellation of sound, lands there, and doesn’t look back. Pre-order the album here.
