Ryan Downey shares the incredible track ‘1+1’, a duet with Zoë Randell. It’s the third taste from Downey’s jaw-dropping debut album Running, out next Friday 13th April. The breathtaking visual was again collaborated with filmmaker Alex Badham (this time co-directing), watch below!
The video narrows its hypnotic focus to the legs of two dancers as they support, interact and carry each other. Much like the song, which Downey explains “follows a frank and honest conversation between two people that love each other”, the cinematography was filmed as one single roaming shot to tie-in with the song’s real-time, “all-cards-on-the-table feel”.
Having just played his first ever sold out headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney, Ryan Downey will be joining Sarah Blasko on her national tour in May/June, alongside his own May headline east coast tour (with full band) in support of the album. Tickets and details below.
