Introducing: Zoh Amba

Zoh Amba joins the Matador Records roster. Amba has become recognised world-wide for their work as a fiery saxophonist and composer, releasing music on Tzadik and Smalltown Supersound and collaborating with artists like William Parker, Luke Stewart, Steve Gunn, and Jim White.

Amba’s work on Matador will follow a new path, that of an emerging guitarist and songwriter with music that draws deeply on their childhood in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Amba will debut their current live band at New York City’s Nightclub 101 on April 17 and will tour this summer supporting Courtney Barnett.
