Today, Aldous Harding releases her new album Warm Chris. The follow-up to 2019’s Designer, Warm Chris features singles ‘Lawn‘ and ‘Fever’ – released earlier this year to support from rage, STACK, Pilerats, Double J, PBS, 2SER and more.
Accompanying the album’s release is ‘Tick Tock‘. Featuring a jaunty, immediate singalong chorus somewhere between traditional folk and a biting nursery rhyme, the single sees Harding utilising multiple voices to carve her own unique space in the alternative landscape.
For Warm Chris, the New Zealand musician reunited with producer John Parish, continuing a professional partnership that began in 2017 and has forged pivotal bodies of work (2017’s Party and the aforementioned Designer). All ten tracks were recorded at Rockfield Studios and includes contributions from H. Hawkline, Seb Rochford, Gavin Fitzjohn, John and Hopey Parish and Jason Williamson (Sleaford Mods).
