Sydney’s multi-hyphenate Glenn Hopper follows up his melancholic debut single with the shimmering piano ballad ‘Easy Way Out’. The track lands alongside news of his first EP Something About The Weather which will arrive on Friday, 13th October.
With a measured blend of humour and sincerity, ‘Easy Way Out’ explores a crisis of identity and motivation. Early 2022, in the aftermath of a heavy breakup is when the phrase “there is no easy way out” came to him, the idea that one often looks for shortcuts through personal pain towards growth, but the harsh truth is that the easy way is often the hard way too.
