Klô Pelgag unveils ‘Libre,’ the first single from her album Abracadabra, out October 11 via Secret City / Remote Control Records.
The video for the song was directed by her longtime collaborator Laurence BAZ Morais. He explains his creative process saying “Through visual metaphors the video explores how we hide our raw emotions behind deceptive facades. The goal is to shine a light on the inner struggle, the tension between the carefully crafted appearance and the chaotic reality.”
Each new Klô Pelgag album reiterates the unique place she occupies in the Francophone cultural landscape. Abracadabra is no exception. From the very first moments of the music, it’s clear that the contrasts that have always been part of the work have been refined.
