‘I Promise That I’ll Try to Give You All My Love’ is an uplifting respite replete with fluttering synths and reverb-soaked vocals. On the content theme, the man behind the moniker – Nick Sowersby – muses “This song is about love giving meaning to a world that can at times feel like a dark place. The line ‘Sometimes it’s fucked how much the world can get you down/Sometimes it’s fucked how much I can love you’ serves as a mission statement for the album as a whole, love overcoming fear.”
