Belle and Sebastian have released a new song and video piece ‘If They’re Shooting At You’ – out via Matador Records / Remote Control Records – in support of those affected by the situation in Ukraine. The visual collage is a collaboration with photographers covering the conflict in Ukraine highlighting the situation on the ground whilst offering a message of solidarity and hope.
Belle and Sebastian will pledge all artist income from the song, from streaming and digital sales as well as publishing royalties, to the Red Cross. Donations made via Bandcamp until March 18 will be matched by the UK government as part of the joint appeal with the Disasters Emergency Committee. An option to donate directly is also available with the song on streaming platforms.
