In August of 2012, fledgling Brisbane label Bedroom Suck Records released into the world an incredible debut LP from a group of Melbourne musicians collectively calling themselves Boomgates.
A supergroup of sorts, the band included members of flagship Melbourne acts like Twerps, Dick Diver and Eddy Current Suppression Ring. The album was a hit, going on to become the sound of that summer and countless summers to follow.
