Dinner aka Danish multi-instrumentalist Anders Rhedin shares the video for ‘Connection’ the exquisite, reflective new single which features dreamy vocals from Molly Burch, and appears on the new album titled Dream Work, a lush collection of synth and guitar-laden indie pop that expertly channels Ryuichi Sakamoto, early British indie, and the sound of water, due for release October 22 on Captured Tracks / Remote Control Records. The delicately expressive, hazy-yet-sunlit video for ‘Connection’ was directed by Amsterdam-based multimedia artist and photographer, Annabel van Royen and stars Anouck van Urk.
Anders Rhedin shares: “I had many long talks with Annabel, the director. I thought I was going to be very involved with this video. But in the end, I just had to let go, and trust Annabel’s ideas and her vision. Let her creativity take over. I’m very glad that I did. To me the video is about a liminal state between reality and something else.”
