Future Islands have shared the second EP, ALAYA Remixes 2, in a series of 3 remix EPs of songs from their critically acclaimed 2020 album As Long As You Are. Out now via 4AD / Remote Control Records, the EP includes a slowed down chillwave version of ‘For Sure‘ by synth-pop songwriter and producer Washed Out, a house-beat rendition of ‘Thrill‘ by San Francisco electronic artist COMPUTER DATA, and a left-field, upbeat remix of ‘Hit The Coast‘ by Smallboy. The new EP is preceded by ALAYA Remixes 1, which featured ‘Thrill (Did They Hear Me Calling)‘ by legendary LA dance producer Egyptian Lover, ‘Plastic Beach‘ by Moss of Aura (Gerrit Welmers’ solo project), and ‘The Painter‘ by Alle Alle.
