Dot Dash & Remote Control Records are incredibly excited to announce the newest signing to join our roster of Australian artists enigmatic songwriter Gabriella Cohen.
Gabriella joins the growing Dot Dash family which currently consists of Methyl Ethel, Pearls, Teeth & Tongue, Sunbeam Sound Machine, Banoffee, Sui Zhen, Client Liaison, Milwaukee Banks, friendships and many others.
Cohen released her debut album Full Closure and No Details via her own DIY independent record label Dirty Power Studios with the help of her longtime collaborator Kate Dillon (Full Flower Moon Band) in March this year. The album has been quick to receive praise from Rolling Stone, NME and featured as Album Of The Week by Triple RRR in Melbourne. A recent arrival to the Melbourne music scene after relocating from Brisbane at the end of 2015, Cohen has quickly established herself as a brooding storm dressed in silk, gaining well-deserved attention with her vivacious live shows that make audiences stop and listen.
Full Closure and No Details is available digitally in Australia & New Zealand today via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records and will receive a full re-release in North America under Dot Dash’s newly formed partnership with Brooklyn based label Captured Tracks.
