HANDSOME announces debut headline shows + shares video ‘Save Some Love’

HANDSOME has announced her debut headline shows in Sydney on April 26 at Lansdowne Hotel and Melbourne on April 27 at The Gasometer (upstairs). In addition, HANDSOME shares the video for her second single ‘Save Some Love’. Watch below!

Following on from some of the themes of ‘Late Night Ball Game feat. Joyride’, this video revolves around a tight knit group of friends, supporting each other through ups and downs of this rollercoaster we call life.

As HANDSOME describes “The video features different languages to project love as a global truth, but also to send a message to the queer community worldwide as a reminder that you are seen and you are loved.

Dedicated to my cousin Russ, who took his own life towards the end of last year – a generous and loving man who always gave so much to others, he lacked enough to keep his own demons at bay. Coming out as a gay man in his 40s, he struggled with acceptance and support from key people in his life, including himself. He left us with a very strong message, and that was to make sure you live your life with true authenticity. ‘Save Some Love’ paints the picture of shining a little bit of light in someones darkness, and illustrates that even the smallest of gestures can be enough to remind someone that they are not alone.

The single was written in a little studio in Sydney with Benjamin Fletcher and David Hunt, and after creating more than 10 final versions of the song, HANDSOME settled proudly on the one you hear today.
