Spellbinding indie-folk artist Ryan Downey releases the striking video for his new song ‘Running’, the title track to his debut album due April 13. Like a time-lapse flower, ‘Running’ reveals itself over the course of three gorgeous minutes. Watch below!
Ryan and director Alex Badham took the video’s character into a half internal void, half real world space, drawing from the sensual aesthetics of Italian cinema to compliment the songs mix of grandeur and restraint; culminating in a truly stunning video.
Ryan Downey’s debut album Running is a glorious and meticulously constructed 21st century folk gem. Not a note detracts from his rich baritone as he sings a song cycle of humour and pathos; self-analysis, sex, love and modern life.
