Meet Soaked Oats, our friends from across the ditch, and the latest signing to Dot Dash Recordings.

They’ve announced their new EP Sludge Pop to be released 14 June. Hear the new single ‘Coming Up’, and take the scenic route through the video here.

Soaked Oats have done a lot of time together. Last year, they embarked on a DIY US tour on an old and cheap RV with no major breakdowns, and were collectively inspired by Parquet Courts’ latest record to change the way they jam. Collectively, their first instrument was the recorder in primary school, their hidden talent is making the perfect cup of tea, and at 15 Avril Lavigne was their fave. What more can I say?
