Jungle release new album – For Ever + announce Australian tour dates

Following a string of celebrated singles including ‘Happy Man’, ‘Heavy, California’ and most recently ‘Beat 54 (All Good Now)’ Jungle’s second album For Ever is out now. To celebrate the release, Jungle have announced they will be returning to Australia in April 2019!

Bringing their intoxicating live show to their ever growing fanbases in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Fremantle, as presented by triple j & Secret Sounds. Jungle are excited to return, this time with their exciting new album in tow. Further tour info below.

For Ever is the follow-up to their acclaimed self-titled debut. The whole thing was dreamed up by Josh “J” Lloyd-Watson and Tom “T” McFarland, a production and multi-instrumentalist duo who never expected to leave their bedroom studios, far less become the core of a talent-filled seven-strong collective that morphed into a killer live outfit.

While Jungle’s first album was their imaginary soundtrack to the places they had never been, For Ever is inspired by real life experiences of the places they’d dreamed of for so long. Swapping Shepherds Bush for the Hollywood Hills, J and T set up camp in Los Angeles to write and record the album.

Over time, their romanticisation of The Californian Dream clashed with the reality of actually living it—although the experience led them back home to London, where they teamed up with young producer Inflo, to finish the album—the journey itself ultimately defined the music it produced.
