Lewis Roberts aka Koreless returns to once again push the boundaries of electronic music with the release of ‘Seven’. The single premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music’s Mary-Anne Hobbs’ show and has now been released globally via Young / Remote Control.
‘Seven’ has been a long time coming. After pouring everything into the intricate process of making his critically acclaimed debut album Agor (“a simply breathtaking debut album” – The Quietus), Koreless moved to the rural countryside in Wales from London and created ‘Seven’ out of a post-album liberation. That energy is encapsulated in the effervescent track which has been a favourite for DJs like Daphni, Four Tet, Batu, Benji B, Courtesy, and HAAi, who featured an alternative version – ‘Seven (Drumhell)’ – on her DJ Kicks compilation released last year.
