Oliver Sim debuts a Soulwax remix of ‘Sensitive Child’. The legendary electronic duo follow in the footsteps of Midland (‘Romance With A Memory’), Jamie xx (‘GMT’) and Wolfgang Tillmans & Marc Krether (‘GMT’) to produce their own unique, dancefloor-focused take on a standout track from Sim’s acclaimed debut solo album, Hideous Bastard, out now via Remote Control.
Produced by Sim’s The xx bandmate and lifelong friend Jamie xx, the album is a collection of songs inspired by his love of horror movies and his own life experience. Listen here. Sim shared several tracks from the album ahead of its release: ‘Romance with a Memory,’ ‘Fruit,’ ‘GMT’ and ‘Hideous,’ a song that features lifelong hero Jimmy Somervilleon guest vocals.
