Liz Stringer shares‘Dangerous’ and announces tour

Liz Stringer shares the second single ‘Dangerous’ lifted from her forthcoming sixth studio album First Time Really Feeling out Friday 30 April on Milk! Records / Remote Control Records. The track sees Stringer flex her 80’s rock muscles with hair-metal guitar solos and the driving urgency of early Tom Petty or Divinyls.

Stringer has collaborated with director Dyllan Corbett again for the ‘Dangerous’ video. Corbett says, I love how Dangerous throws you straight into a family’s history with little context. Untangling threads across time, we delve deeper into the worlds of each family member as they grapple with responsibility, loss and ultimate forgiveness. I wanted to keep the major conflicts offscreen, obscured by the fog of memory, but give each character the chance to find their own redemption. We built the family dynamic from pieces of each of our own experiences as well as drawing on the strong lyrics of the track. From here we would improvise and experiment, forever finding new ways to deepen their story.
