The Lemon Twigs offer another taste of their upcoming album, Songs For The General Public, with fourth single ‘No One Holds You (Closer Than The One You Haven’t Met).’ The track is a barnstorming 3-minute song covers failed relationships and romantic fantasies, “No one compares to the one that you invented in your head.”
Songs For The General Public will be released on 21 August 2020 and features previous singles ‘Live In Favor Of Tomorrow’, ‘Moon’ and ‘The One’. The D’Addario brothers wrote, recorded and produced the record entirely on tape at their Long Island home studio, Sonora Studios in Los Angeles.
The 12-track album will be released on digitally and on CD, limited translucent red vinyl (indie stores and 4AD Store only) and standard black vinyl.
