Planet Rami releases his latest single ‘Mother Eye’. The captivating alt-pop track is about those moments when you’re being thrown around by the universe – whether that be through failed loves, friendships, or jobs – and the only balm can be comfort from your mother. Written with ARIA nominated record producer, composer, mixer and songwriter Tony Buchen.

“When I wrote this track, I was going through some major changes in my life. I guess moving cities when you’ve never even lived out of home can shock anybody’s existence and it definitely shook me around. It didn’t make it easier that I couldn’t find a job, had my heart broken by a girl I was crazy over, and had a small social circle that I really connected with.

All times pass and gladly that one did but I recall my longing for my mother’s company, someone who could really comfort me, maybe the only person who could when I was in that situation,” said Rami.

Planet Rami emerges as the soulful and melancholic brainchild of artist and musician Rami Al-hanbali, guiding you on a journey that gracefully navigates the realms of alternative rock. Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Perth, Rami recently found a new artistic home in the bustling energy of Sydney. Born out of a profound exploration of emotions and introspection, Planet Rami’s music delves into the depths of the human experience. Shaped by his Palestinian heritage and Australian upbringing, Rami’s unique perspective weaves a tapestry of rich, emotive sounds that resonate with listeners.

At the core of Planet Rami’s sonic universe lies a captivating blend of melancholy and soulfulness, creating a musical landscape that is both haunting and comforting.
