The New York rapper—aka Destiny Frasqueri—co-directed ‘Look Up Kid’ with frequent collaborator Milah Libin. The visual sees Frasqueri embracing her rock roots and performing with a full band.
A Girl Cried Red showcases another fully formed side of Destiny that still taps into the uncompromising feminist ideology of Princess Nokia, and will undoubtedly cement her place in the alternative underground as well as the hip-hop world.
