Yaeji is back with a hot new club single ‘booboo’. After a brief period of retreat from the club, while she recorded and released her 2023 debut With A Hammer, Yaeji is back firmly behind the decks with this floor-filler.
Last month ‘booboo’ debuted during Yaeji’s Boiler Room DJ set (watch here) at Brooklyn Mirage, followed by a live performance of the single during her performance at Pitchfork Music Festival. The unapologetic and carefree club bop is a result of Yaeji’s recent period of deep introspection.
On ‘booboo’ Yaeji returns to the club with a new found self-liberation, locked in to her connection with mind, body and soul, surrounded by her friends and the underground dance community that inspired her to begin making music in the first place.
