Boss Battle are pleased to release the soundtrack for This Is The Police 2. Featuring songs written by Perth’s Ben Matthews, London’s Kevin Penkin and Melbourne’s Jia Lih, the soundtrack is out now and the game is available for play via Steam.
This Is The Police 2 explores a blend of jazz, Scandinavian folk, blues and was recorded by Sigve Bull at PhatCat Studios in Norway. The record features a range of Norwegian musicians including Karl Seglem, one of the world’s most acclaimed bukkehorn (goat horn) players.
The game This Is The Police 2, the sequel to noir drama This Is the Police by Weappy Studio, introduces you to the town of Sharpwood, where people know their neighbours by name and faithfully keep to their traditions, no matter how barbaric those might be. Smugglers, gangs, and screaming populists call this town home.
Despair grows like a cancer, hand in hand with violence. It’s a hell of a job for the new sheriff, Lilly Reed (voiced by Sarah Hamilton). She’s struggling to maintain order and peace, while her subordinates are uncouth men who aren’t used to taking commands from a young woman. But everything changes when a mysterious stranger calling himself Warren Nash appears in Sharpwood. And no one knows what he’ll bring to the town: salvation or perdition.
Just like the first game, This Is the Police 2 is a mixture of adventure and management genres, and this time it enjoys further unexpected mechanics and twists.
