Riding high off the universal love for his latest single ‘father’, Jim Legxacy keeps things moving with new track ‘stick’. Dropping alongside another slick video from Rohan Dil shot partly on a Blackberry, ‘stick’ sees Jim at the peak of his powers offering another snapshot of his journey and cements his advancing cultural significance as a young writer and producer.

Jim’s prolific output forever tells an important story. Always ahead of the game, his songwriting depicts his own story as a black British creative as much as it speaks for and to many of his peers. Standing proudly but humbly at the helm of a movement; a new generation of storytellers and pioneers carving a path out of the comfort of the underground, always pushing upwards.

It was during a recent appearance on Plaqueboymax’s livestream alongside YT, Fimiguerrero and Len that Jim first previewed ‘stick’ – much to his fans’ excitement. He then kept the anticipation for the upcoming black british music (2025) mixtape building by doing his first ever video chat on Kids Take Over.
