Kicking off 2024 with a bang, Manhattan four-piece cumgirl8 (aka cg8) return with a brand new single entitled ‘glasshour’. It’s a spiky post-punk haze, showcasing all that’s exciting and unique about cumgirl8 via jarring electro-punk flourishes, industrial sludge, and an irrepressible hook tying it all together.
A live highlight of their incendiary underground shows, the new track also previews the group’s upcoming debut 4AD / Remote Control record (due later this year). The release additionally marks the band’s long-awaited return with new material, following last year’s EP release, phantasea pharm.
