Lauded by Paper Mag as “that rare act that melds the sweat of performance with the immediacy of a headphones-on experience,” cumgirl8 further proves their infectious nature with this new track, a throbbing, late night overture to twisted romance. With an unsettling, industrial air, here, the band touch close to Cabaret Voltaire in the style of “gothic pop and scuzzy dance-punk studded with horny prose”.
Earlier this year, cumgirl8 shared another stand-alone track entitled ‘glasshour’ praised by the likes of PAPER Magazine, The FADER, Post-Punk, and Brooklyn Vegan. Both new stand-alone singles serve as a preview for the group’s upcoming debut record (due later this year), a follow-up to last year’s EP release, phantasea pharm.
