Salmon Brothers unveil new single ‘Coming Up For Air’, from the forthcoming album More To Love album, out August 16th.
The second offering from the project begins with a dreamy, swirling flute composition of another world. As if awoken from a dream, the record quickly changes direction with funky guitar licks, synth trills, and captivating vocals that exude charm and charisma from the outset. Lyrically, the single alludes to past heartbreak and “trouble healing”, yet it sonically conveys a sense of optimism with Weaver singing, “I pretend like I don’t care, but when I see you it’s like coming up for air.”
