Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game for up to 4 players, in which each player takes control of an army and its commander unit to wage war on their enemies. It’s extremely easy to pick up, with accessibility at the forefront of its design, and very difficult to master, with deep gameplay mechanics that complement strategic play. It’s one for the ages, having been rated upwards of 9/10 by Nintendo World Report, Game Informer, Nintendo Life, and Destructoid.

The soundtrack, recorded in Phonetic Hero’s home studio in Baltimore, is primarily orchestral and folk, covering four distinct sonic aesthetics to reflect four warring factions. Many culturally unique instruments from around the world were used to aid in the characterisation of each faction and give them their own sound. Onwards!
