Announced: Liz Stringer – The Second High + title-track

Liz Stringer announces her new album The Second High, due for release 28th March. She releases title track ‘The Second High’, the captivating second single from the album alongside a beautiful video directed by Alicia and Archie production. Watch below!

During mid 2023, Stringer began perhaps her most ambitious journey yet, a three month stint at Iguana Studios in Brixton UK to work with Grammy nominated, Ivor Novello Award winning producer and engineer Beni Giles. The Second High is the culmination of those sessions.

The Second High draws from Stringers’ wider influences of jazz, funk and soul, and takes her ability to dissect the minutiae of the human condition through song – and connect with her audience – to a new level. The album is redolent with motifs of self-actualisation, lessons learned, sharp and ever-relevant commentary on social issues, and a strong and consistent focus on justice and equality.

Stringer’s seventh studio album is a fresh and engaging ride to a destination yet uncharted, even by Stringer’s standards – thrilling, stark and transformative. In April, Stringer returns home from the UK to embark on an East Coast Australian tour. Further details and ticket info below.
