New music from B Boys, Molly Burch, Lina Tullgren…

B Boys share ‘Pressure Inside,’ another track off their forthcoming album, Dudu. The song boasts the raucous, in-your-face energy of an angsty Parquet Courts cut. Over a tight, jittery guitar, they shout, “I’m always busy in my mind / Can’t think things through / It’s getting harder to breathe.” Dudu is out 26 July via Captured Tracks.

Molly Burch has shared ‘Only One’ the A-Side to her Ballads 7″. Molly shares “I decided to call the 7” Ballads as an homage to the powerful female vocalists I idolized growing up. Seems sort of classic. Both songs really embody what I love to do – sing with emotion, and drama, and romance, taking as much time as I need.”

Lina Tullgren has announced their second album Free Cell, with a new track and video ‘Golden Babyland.’ Directed by Haley Dahl, they explain “The video depicts a father who has lost a daughter. In a state of grief and delusion, he tries to recreate a world in which she is alive. He spies on and kidnaps an unsuspecting little boy, and dresses him in his daughter’s clothes. He clings to this placeholder, never really looking at him, trying to maintain suspended disbelief that he is still living in a moment before everything went wrong. It ends with them both glued to the TV, tears streaming down their faces, as police lights begin to blink over the room.”

Finally, Steve Gunn has shared two gorgeous new songs ‘Be Still Moon’ & ‘Shrunken Heads’ ~ lifted from the sessions that brought us his critically acclaimed album The Unseen In Between.
